woo-hoo!

Alec brought home a notice yesterday that he has been nominated and chosen for a Riverton High School Social Hero Award. He and a few other students will be honored at an assembly next Wednesday.

I don't really know anything about this award or what it represents but it sounds cool!

Alec wasn't super excited about it until I told him he gets to stand on the stage during an assembly and everyone will clap for him. That got him revved up! He loves being the center of attention!

I can hardly wait to find out more.
