time put to use

It is amazing the things you can get done even when you feel you're constantly chasing a one-year-old who is in to everything!

Of course, it helps when you're not at home so the phone isn't ringing, you don't feel guilty about not cleaning (at least not too guilty), you don't have to go grocery shopping, you're not substitute teaching seminary 2-3 days of the week, you're not helping in your child's classroom, you're not attending PTA meetings, etc.

Yes, Hannah took naps and besides, I was home in the evenings much earlier than I usually am (with all of Dawnette's kids in bed) so I had time to get some things done.

I made 3 cards including the one that will be my invitation to "tea" (yes, I am planning on hosting an English tea just because it sounds fun).

I crocheted beads onto 2 pairs of socks.

I read 4 books (of course, one was on the flight down and one on the flight home but that still counts).

I knit 2 dishcloths.

I worked on my book and I completed 12 hours of CPE (continuing professional education required to keep my CPA license).

I also managed to go running every morning.

Not too shabby of a week if I do say so myself.

(Now, it's back to catch-up on all the things I didn't get done at home!)
