The only change I would make is to the frosting. I like the emphasis to be on the blackberries and not the supersweet buttercream frosting. I would suggest frosting this cake with Cool Whip. Yum!

ReplyDeleteI should have done blackberry cake for 4th of July, but I opted to make a pineapple cake instead with a national flag design of course! It's okay, though I think blackberry would have hit the mark more, my kids love berries! Anyways, I'll be making this one for sure pretty soon, lol! Your did a good job with your blackberry cake there! :)
