trouncings

Well, McKayla has now had her first 2 basketball games. I blogged here about the life lesson she would learn from not making the team. Of course, she didn't learn the lesson because she made the team. In fact, not only did she make the team but she was the first one in off the bench in her first game and by her second game, she was named a starter. I continue to be surprised and amazed at her -- she certainly does not get any of her athletic ability from me.

Her team is doing well too! They won their first game (vs. South Hills) 28-3. They won their second game (vs. Joel P. Jensen) with an impressive score of 69-5. I felt bad for the other team. McKayla"s team is really strong on defense. They also have a lot of plays that they run. It has been fun to watch. She now has a break until mid-January.
