catch of the day

Guess I should say CATCHES of the day. Shanley had not just one but TWO great catches at her softball playoff game last night.

Wouldn't it be great if I would have had a camera on the play?

It was bottom of the first inning. Their first batter was up and hit a line drive which Shanley managed to catch. WooHoo - one out. Second batter gets up and hits a pop fly. This time, Shanley made it look easy to make the catch. WooHoo - two up, two down. Great job, Shanley!

Her team went on to win 12-4. Shanley even managed to score by stealing home.

I have to admit it has been kind of fun this season to watch a sport other than soccer. Maybe variety really is the spice of life.
