Spring Fling

Yesterday the Special Ed students at Riverton High hosted a Spring Fling. The students from both ID (intellectually disabled) classes danced, sang, told jokes, and signed along with their peer tutors.

The students were really cute but what really touched my heart were the peer tutors! They are incredible! They play with the students, have fun with them, and demonstrate amazing patience! They are totally awesome! I am so thankful for them and all that they do to help my student. Both of the girls who asked Alec to Sweethearts and Prom this year are peer tutors in the classroom. I believe all of the peer tutors are pretty selfless people with big, huge hearts!
