books I've read in the past month

Here's the list of books I've read in the past month. Number the Stars is a good YA novel but nothing else on the list would I highly recommend. They were all fair to middling reads.

Number the Stars by Lois Lowry
Never Tell a Lie: A Novel of Suspense by Hallie Ephron
The Buffalo Soldier by Chris Bohjalian
The Tourist by Olen Steinhauer
Little Bee by Chris Cleave
Hiroshima by John Hersey
A Map of the World by Jane Hamilton
Hello Goodbye by Emily Chenowith
Old City Hall: A Novel by Robert Rotenberg

  1. It's been a long time since I read Number the Stars, but as a middle-schooler, I really liked it. And I read Hiroshima in high school and still remember some of the graphic descriptions.
