parent day at OHMS

The PTA hosted the first ever "Bring Your Parents to School" day at OHMS last Friday. Unfortunately, since I was driving to Las Vegas, I didn't get to participate. The entire extent of my involvement was setting up registration tables and welcoming the parents who came in time for the first period (then I hit the road).

I visited with the principal yesterday and was delighted to learn that the school administration considers the day a resounding success! Nearly 200 parents attended classes with their students. They obtained written feedback from parents and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Yea! It's always a relief when something you've helped plan goes well.
