What a week for Alec! Tuesday night was the Yearbook Stomp - 4 hours of being with his school buddies and having people sign his yearbook equals "heaven" for Alec. He is one very liked kid and had a LOT of people write very nice things in his yearbook! Here he is right before the stomp with his friend Jacob. Jacob has been taking him to soccer games, basketball games, football games, dances, etc for years! We love Jacob around here!
Yesterday was graduation held at Utah Valley University in Orem. There were 605 students who walked in the ceremony - it took FOREVER! The student talks were very good. The principal, Brad Sorenson, talked about Alec in his speech. He even had Alec stand up. Alec loves being the center of attention so he was thrilled!
We followed-up the graduation ceremony with a BBQ for family at our home. Then Alec and I went to the graduation party at Boondocks. I chaperoned. Alec played laser tag and miniature and drove bumper cars. I had really thought he'd want to leave early but he was still going strong when it ended a little after 3 am. Again, several students really watched out for him at the party and included him and helped him. RHS has the best students!
