Theodor Seuss Geisel

How do you celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday? At our home, we celebrate by eating this for breakfast:

Also, we read a Dr. Seuss book. This morning it was "My Many Colored Days".

I was also invited in to the middle school to read for 10-15 minutes this morning. Story time for middle schoolers - how great is that? I read to 2 classes - Mr. Hobbs and Mr. Varga's students. There were 50-60 students about evenly split between 8th and 9th grades. I read 2 picture books, a poem, and a short story. I chose mostly humorous material and had SO MUCH FUN!

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite authors of all time!
