It has become a tradition that every year I serve something funny for dinner on April Fool's Day. The food never fools my kids but they enjoy this tradition anyway. This year I told them the joke is that we were starting with dessert first. I served a "bundt cake" which was really a biscuit dough stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, and pizza sauce. The "frosting" was melted cheese.
Then I served the "main dish". This year it was "spaghetti and meatballs".
Yep, cupcakes with piped on frosting, strawberry jam, and Ferrera Rocher "meatballs".
